Good article. It's informative for those who would like to learn about Move. It also lists the available games for it, dividing them into two categories: the games that require move and those that don't but are move compatible.
Insecurity breeds irrationality.
If you really are okay with it, you needn't shout about it.
@Sandal?
You still in the enchantment business?
Michael Pachter predicts Reach will sell well! That guy is a genius!
Seriously, I want Pachter's job, being an idiot and getting paid for it sounds like a fun job. It's way more fun than pretending to be a retard to win the Special Olympics. :(
There's a chance you have a problem with your connection. Even the cheapest headsets sound better than what you describe.
Goddammit! I will never pay an extra ten dollars for a subscription. Maybe I should devise another genius plan and feed Major Nelson his own parents to teach him a lesson. I'm so pissed off. X
Day 1. Seriously, the more I hear/read about this game the more I want it.
If XBL was free I would not switch to Xbox 360 as my main gaming console (though it would be far more attractive than it is now); not because I'm a PS3 fanboy, but because I have a functional brain and I choose to use it.
Funny trolling.
Hi Jordan,
Your article may have been better as an opinion. Even then it may not get the warm response you are aiming for.
I doubt you wrote this from a biased perspective, but it asks a question about to unreleased games and you are not providing much detail as to why any of these two games deserves recognition besides being popular.
Halo Reach, in my opinion, despite being mega popular and engaging to the fans of the franchise, may no...
It's only August now and neither game is released yet, not to mention that some other big titles are yet to be released.
Also, there's no such thing as "Game of the Year" award. Each publication, association, and website (of which there are hundreds now) has its own GOTY award.
Last year, Uncharted 2 won universal acclaim and GOTY awards on almost every PS3 and multiplat publications yet Gamespot, one of the two largest gaming websites, ...
I didn't have the original Xbox but bought 360 very early. I'm no longer a gold member, but I have been watching the growth of both Live and PSN carefully. PSN's growth since its debut is nothing short of spectacular.
It's true that Sony played catch-up for a while, but this is no longer the case. Microsoft's refusal to acknowledge Sony's vastly improved online service may hurt them in the long run. It's not like Microsoft's sitting by idly a...
I am not putting Mass Effect 2 and Gears of War in the same category. But Mass Effect 2 and an RPG like, say, Dragon Age can't be considered to be of the same genre either.
Simply making choices doesn't make an RPG in the traditional sense. Heavy Rain is all about choices and it isn't and cannot be an RPG.
Bioshock is primarily an FPS. Sure, the Plasmids and the tonics give it an RPG flavor, but the main theme of the game is dissimilar to that...
Shale's defensive abilities can be quite useful. I barely used her though.
Fat Princess is unbelievably fun but it gets repetitive after a while. But then again, to me, all online games are repetitive after some time.
So you have no clue about what's on PSN and the whole thing is fail?
Being well-informed before expressing your opinions publicly will save you from a lot of embarrassing moments in life.
True. But it doesn't change the fact that it is someone who did not pay the company and that he will start from scratch, therefore, abnormally prolonging online play time per unit sold.
ME2 is primarily s shooter with RPG elements tacked on.
If we take the meaning of role-playing game literally, then ME2 is a role-playing game. But over the years, RPG games have collected a set of specific elements that have become distinctive to the RPG genre as a whole.
If ME2 is an RPG, so is inFamous (and many action games in general). You develop your character in inFamous gaining more ablities and upgrading your powers. Your dicisions have an impac...
@MisterNiwa
Agreed. Considering it an RPG, it's the best RPG of the year so far but it hardly qualifies as an RPG.
Dragon Age is a classic western RPG and it is one of the best I have played in a very, very long time. I'm an RPG junkie by the way. It only lacked good music to go with it. Hyped for the next one.
@midgard229
Oh yeah, Valkyria is a true gem.
Why should Cliffy be on this list?
No hate for the guy here, but aside from the sales numbers and hi-res textures, I don't see anything special about Gears of War.
Not updated, I see. Kevin Butler is the new Chuck Norris.
